<p>Totalt betäcktes det 4.356 varmblodiga travston under 2022 och i den siffran ingår också de temporärt exporterade fölstona. Då är nedgången något mindre, 203 färre betäckta ston.</p>
<p>– Trenden som blivit tydlig under senare år, nämligen att i Sverige uppstallade populära hingstar i hög grad skickar sperma utomlands, tycks fortsätta och förstärkas ytterligare i år, säger Christina Ohlsson i ett uttalande på ST:s hemsida.</p>
<p>Antalet betäckta ston utomlands ökade från 945 till 953.</p>
